Privacy Policy
Learn what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can manage your data when using Sportlink.
Who we are
Sportlink is a platform that connects athletes with clubs, complexes and venue administrators, letting them book slots, manage payments and run their sports activity. For the purposes of data-protection law, we are the controller of the data described in this document.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account dataname, email, phone number and password.
- Profile dataphoto, preferred sport, associated club or complex and your role on the platform.
- Booking and activity datarequested slots, courts, schedules, participants and usage history.
- Payment dataprocessed by our payment provider; we keep transaction identifiers and receipts, not your full card number.
- Technical dataIP address, device type, operating system, session identifiers and usage logs.
- Communicationsmessages you exchange within the platform and with our support team.
How we use your information
We use your data to:
- Provide the servicecreate your account, process bookings and manage payments.
- Operate and improve the platform, diagnose issues and prevent fraud.
- Send you operational communications (confirmations, slot reminders, changes).
- Send you marketing communications where you have consented, with an opt-out in every message.
- Comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the basis of contract performance (providing the service), your consent (marketing communications), our legitimate interest (security and service improvement), and compliance with legal obligations. In Argentina, this processing is governed by Data Protection Law No. 25.326 and its supplementary regulations.
Data retention
We keep your data while you have an active account and for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
You can exercise the following rights over your data:
- Accessfind out what data we hold about you.
- Rectificationcorrect inaccurate or outdated data.
- Erasurerequest deletion of your data where applicable.
- Objection and restrictionobject to certain processing.
- Portabilityreceive your data in a structured format.

Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure. No system is completely foolproof, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Minors
The platform is not directed to minors without the authorization of a parent or guardian. If we detect a minor's data without the proper authorization, we will delete it.
International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside your country. In those cases we adopt appropriate safeguards so your data keeps a level of protection equivalent to that required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or to regulations. We will publish the current version on this page and, where changes are significant, notify you through available channels.
